Get started as a merchant
With Zimpostmall, you can create and add your products to the e-store for sell to visitors. Creating a Merchant account is the first step to selling using Zimpostmall and will act as your hub for managing your products, fulfillment, and payments.
You will need to create an account on Zimpostmall.
- Go to Sell.
- Select Join Now
- Fill in the registration fields and select Create My Account.
Once you have created your account, you will be able to log in using the email address and password that you provided on registration. You will receive an email notification of your account status i.e Approved/Denied, once we have verified all the details.
Note: Make sure the information entered here is correct; some of it cannot be changed after your account is created.
Uploading your products
- Login to Sell Portal.
- Select Products then Add Product .
3. Select Digital Product
This will enable you to upload up to 5 images of your product.
Also ensure that all the necessary details relating to your product are provided.
N.B: The fields that are marked with a red star (*) are compulsory and have to be filled for your product to be created .
4. Indicate the price of your product.
If you want to sell your product at a discounted price, fill in the compare at price slot. This enables the store to show both the former price and the new discounted price. This pertains to products that you would want to appear on the shop as on special offer or promotion thus they would have the "WAS" price which will be the price entered in the field Compare at Price and the "NOW" price which will be the price entered in the field Price.
After entering the price of the product, automatically your potion is calculated depending on the commission/ fee structure.
Another point to note is that a product is only allowed to belong to a maximum of two collections to avoid too much repetition of the same product within the Zimpostmall store.
When a customer selects and pays for your product on zimpostmall , you will receive an e-mail informing you that the item is sold. Log in to your Merchant Portal and pick the "Recent Orders" tab to see information on the order. Through this screen, you can see the order value.
